I enjoy working with creative people! Kristen has so many incredible ideas, my job was to showcase each cake to it’s greatest potential without interfering with the next one. The basic page design is open and simple, letting Kristen’s cakes take the lead. She gives the reader step-by-step of her techniques through images and text as well as tried-and-true advice. Kristen was open to ideas, like writing the title of the book in modeling chocolate instead of a more traditional font and adding a flourish to the page numbers.
